Heute Abend war es wieder so weit: Unsere Mรคdelsrunde verbrachte einen gelungenen Abend im Museum. Es wurde viel geplaudert, gelacht und natรผrlich auch geschlemmt โ kulinarisch blieben wieder keine Wรผnsche offen. Ich freuen mich jetzt schon auf das nรคchste Treffen in drei Monaten!
This evening it was that time again: our girlsโ group spent a wonderful evening at the museum. There was lots of chatting, laughing, and of course delicious food - once again, nothing was lacking on the culinary side. Iโm already looking forward to our next gathering in three months!

Am 09. April 2026 durften wir zahlreiche Teilnehmer:innen zu einem spannenden Prรคventionsabend bei uns im U.S. Sheriff's Museum begrรผรen.
Gruppeninspektor Michael Ortner der Kriminalassistenzdienststelle Region 4, Unterland, gab praxisnahe Tipps zu wichtigen Themen wie Handysicherheit, sichere Passwรถrter, Schutz persรถnlicher Daten sowie den Umgang mit Fake-Anrufen, SMS und verdรคchtigen Links.
Der rege Austausch und die vielen Fragen haben gezeigt, wie wichtig Aufklรคrung heute ist! Danke fรผr euer groรes Interesse und die tollen Gesprรคche โ bis bald im Museum!

Staying Safe Together in Everyday Life!
On April 9, 2026, we welcomed numerous participants to an engaging crime prevention event at our U.S. Sheriffโs Museum Austria.
Senior Patrol Officer Michael Ortner from the Criminal Investigation Division provided practical tips on important topics such as cell phone security, strong passwords, protecting personal data, and dealing with scam calls, text messages, and suspicious links.
The lively discussion and many questions showed just how important education is today! Thank you for your keen interest and the great conversations - see you soon at the museum!

Vor einiger Zeit erreichte uns eine besondere Anfrage aus Deutschland: Eine Mutter plante mit ihren drei Kindern unser Museum besuchen. Ihr 18-jรคhriger Sohn schreibt seine Jahresarbeit รผber Sheriffโs Offices und wird dazu auch ein Referat halten.
Dabei wurde uns erneut bewusst, dass es im deutschsprachigen Raum offenbar nichts Vergleichbares zu unserem Museum gibt โ und auch europaweit keine wirklich gleichwertige Ausstellung existiert.
Umso mehr freuten wir uns, der Familie einen besonderen Besuch zu ermรถglichen: Wir haben unser Museum exklusiv fรผr sie geรถffnet, sodass der junge Mann in aller Ruhe recherchieren und in die Welt der U.S. Sheriffs eintauchen konnte.
Wir hoffen, dass ihn die Eindrรผcke und Gesprรคche inspirieren und ihm helfen, eine fundierte 20-seitige Arbeit zu verfassen.

Some time ago, we received a special request from Germany: A mother planned to visit our museum with her three children. Her 18-year-old son is writing his term paper on sheriffโs offices and will also be giving a presentation on the topic.
This request once again made us realize that there is nothing comparable to our museum in the German-speaking world - and no truly equivalent exhibition anywhere in Europe.
We were therefore all the more pleased to offer the family a very special visit: we opened our museum exclusively for them, allowing the young man to research at his own pace and fully immerse himself in the world of U.S. Sheriffs.
We hope that the impressions and conversations will inspire him and help him produce a well-founded 20-page paper.
We wish him every success with his project!

Sich mit Freunden im Museum zu treffen, hat einen ganz besonderen Reiz โ vor allem, wenn man sich schon lange kennt und viele gemeinsame Erinnerungen teilt.
Der Abend begann mit einer beeindruckenden Museumsfรผhrung, die faszinierende Einblicke bot und selbst auf vertraute Dinge ein neues Licht warf. Anschlieรend sorgte ein kรถstliches Essen dafรผr, dass der Besuch einen harmonischen Abschluss fand.
Und am Ende blieb vor allem eines: Die alten Geschichten haben nichts von ihrem Charme verloren. Sie bringen uns immer noch zum Lachen, lassen gemeinsame Momente wieder aufleben und zeigen, dass wahre Freundschaft einfach zeitlos ist.

Meeting up with friends at the museum has a special charm - especially when youโve known each other for a long time and share many memories together.
The evening began with an impressive museum tour that offered fascinating insights and shed new light even on familiar sights. Afterward, a delicious meal ensured that the visit came to a harmonious close.
And in the end, one thing remained above all else: the old stories havenโt lost any of their charm. They still make us smile, bring shared moments back to life, and show that true friendship is simply timeless.

Am Abend des 17. Mรคrz 2026 begrรผรten wir im Museum eine Gruppe interessierter Besucher zu einem spannenden Vortrag รผber das amerikanische Polizeisystem, der faszinierende Einblicke in die vielfรคltigen Aufgaben und die tรคgliche Arbeit eines U.S. Sheriffs bot.
Im Anschluss an den Vortrag wurde der gelungene Abend durch ein passendes kulinarisches Angebot abgerundet: Mit Pulled-Pork-Burgern, frischem Coleslaw, herzhaftem Maisbrot und einem kรถstlichen Cheesecake war auch fรผr das leibliche Wohl bestens gesorgt.

On the evening of March 17, 2026, we welcomed a group of interested visitors to the museum for an engaging discussion on the American police system, which offered fascinating insights into the diverse responsibilities and daily work of a U.S. sheriff.
Following the talk, the evening was rounded off with a fitting culinary spread. With pulled pork burgers, fresh coleslaw, hearty cornbread, and a delicious cheesecake, everyoneโs culinary needs were well taken care of.
We sincerely thank you for your great interest and the engaging conversations, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon at one of our events at the museum.

Unser "Kaffee Hoagaascht" am 28.02.2026 war ein voller Erfolg. Zahlreiche Einheimische, Freunde und Unterstรผtzer des Museums folgten unserer Einladung und sorgten fรผr eine rundum angenehme und lebendige Atmosphรคre. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir neben vielen Gรคsten aus der Region auch Besucher aus Barcelona sowie aus Atlanta im U.S. Bundesstaat Georgia begrรผรen durften.
Bei Kaffee und hausgemachtem Kuchen entstanden viele herzliche und angeregte Gesprรคche. Es wurde gelacht, diskutiert und in gemeinsamen Erinnerungen geschwelgt. So manche Anekdote aus vergangenen Zeiten kam dabei wieder ans Licht und weckte schรถne Kindheitserinnerungen.
Wir bedanken uns bei allen Besucherinnen und Besuchern fรผr ihr Kommen und die wertvolle Unterstรผtzung. Solche Begegnungen zeigen einmal mehr, wie wichtig unser Museum als Ort der Begegnung und des Austauschs ist.

Our "Coffee Chat" on February 28, 2026, was a great success. Numerous locals, friends, and supporters of the museum accepted our invitation and created a thoroughly pleasant and lively atmosphere. We were particularly pleased to welcome visitors from Barcelona and Atlanta (Georgia), in addition to many guests from the area.
The "Kaffee Hoagascht" was a complete success. Over coffee and homemade cake, many warm and lively conversations took place. There was laughter, discussion, and reminiscing about shared memories. Many anecdotes from times gone by came to light and brought back fond childhood memories.
We would like to thank all visitors for coming and for their valuable support. Such encounters show once again how important our museum is as a place of encounter and exchange.

Ein herzliches Dankeschรถn fรผr eure Mรผhe, die kreativen Beitrรคge und diesen rundum gelungenen Abend. Es wurde viel gelacht, erzรคhlt und gemeinsam in schรถnen Erinnerungen geschwelgt.
On February 26, 2026, it was time for โ๐๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ.โ It was prepared, served, and, of course, enjoyedโand as you can see, our meal was truly wonderfully colorful this time.
A heartfelt thank you for your efforts, creative contributions, and this thoroughly successful evening. There was lots of laughter, storytelling, and reminiscing about fond memories together.

Am 15. Januar 2026 besuchte uns eine Mรคnnerrunde im Museum . Um die Fรผhrung noch etwas spannender zu gestalten, durfte auch das ein oder andere Einsatzmittel ausprobiert werden โ Anfassen und Ausprobieren ausdrรผcklich erlaubt!
Auch kulinarisch kam der Genuss nicht zu kurz: Saftige Pulled-Pork-Burger mit Coleslaw sowie ein kรถstlicher Apfel-Zimt-Kuchen, begleitet von einem Schluck Moonshine, sorgten fรผr den perfekten Abschluss.
Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Abend mit spannenden Einblicken, bester Stimmung und hervorragendem Essen.
On January 15, 2026, a group of men visited us at the museum. To make the tour even more exciting, they were allowed to try out some of the equipment - touching and testing were expressly permitted! There was no shortage of culinary delights either: juicy pulled pork burgers with coleslaw and a delicious apple and cinnamon cake, accompanied by a sip of moonshine, provided the perfect finale.
All in all, it was an all-round successful evening with exciting insights, a great atmosphere, and excellent food.

Am 22. November 2025 war ein ganz besonderer Tag: die Erรถffnung des Museums an unserer neuen Location! So schรถn der Tag gestern auch war, die winterliche Kรคlte fรผhrte uns dennoch schnell in die gemรผtliche Wรคrme des Museums. Ein herzliches Dankeschรถn an alle, die so zahlreich erschienen sind, an alle Freunde und Unterstรผtzer sowie fรผr die vielen lieben Geschenke. Euer Besuch und Eure Wertschรคtzung bedeuten uns unglaublich viel und geben uns die Motivation, das Museum weiterhin mit Herzblut zu gestalten.
Auf viele weitere Jahre, in denen wir die Leidenschaft und Geschichte der U.S. Sheriffs bewahren, unterstรผtzt von einer Sammlung, die sowohl einzigartig als auch eine der umfangreichsten auรerhalb der USA ist.
On November 22, 2025 was a truly special day: the grand opening of our museum at its new location! As beautiful as the day was, the winter cold quickly drove us into the cozy warmth of the museum.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, to all our friends and supporters, and for the many thoughtful gifts. Your visit and appreciation mean the world to us and inspire us to continue running the museum with passion and dedication.

09. Oktober 2025:
Am 09. Oktober 2025 fand โ ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก C๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌโ vor unserer neuen Museums-Location statt. Die Polizisten der PI Hopfgarten schenkten fleiรig Kaffee aus und kamen dabei mit vielen Bรผrgerinnen und Bรผrgern ins Gesprรคch. Die entspannte Atmosphรคre bot eine tolle Mรถglichkeit, Fragen zu stellen und sich auszutauschen. Einige nutzten zudem die Chance, unser neues Museum zu besuchen. Ein rundum gelungener Vormittag mit vielen netten Begegnungen!
On Oktober 9, 2025, โ ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก C๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌโ took place in front of our new museum location. The police officers served coffee and took the time to have conversations with many local residents. The relaxed atmosphere provided a great chance to ask questions and connect. Some also took the opportunity to visit our new museum. A thoroughly successful morning with many pleasant encounters!

Am 01. September 2025 startete das Projekt โMuseum neuโ. Alle Vitrinen, Schaukรคsten und Schaufensterpuppen konnten dabei ohne Zwischenfรคlle sicher an ihren neuen Standort gebracht werden. In den nรคchsten Tagen steht nun die spannende Aufgabe an, die Objekte im Raum so zu arrangieren, dass der vorhandene Platz bestmรถglich genutzt wird.
September 1, 2025 marked the start of the โMuseum Newโ project. All display cases, showcases, and mannequins were safely transported to their new location without any incidents.
